Dr. Rekha Gupta was born in Delhi, India. She developed an early interest in medicine which led her to study B.A.M.S. (Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) degree, from M.S.M institute of Ayurveda, Khanpur Sonipat in India.
In addition to that she completed post-graduation diploma in hospital administration from Apollo Hospital in Delhi, India. She worked in a hospital in Delhi as registered medical officer for 7 years. She immigrated to Australia in 2008. Since 2008, she is a member of AAA (Australasian Association Of Ayurveda). In 2009, she enrolled at Endeavour college of Natural Health in Adelaide for Diploma of Remedial Massage and finished her diploma in 2010. She joined AAMT (Australian Association of Massage Therapy) in 2014 and ANTA (Australian Natural Therapists Association) in 2016.
Since then, she has been an active Ayurvedic Physician and Remedial Massage Therapist. Seeing a need for continuous upgrade to her knowledge and productivity, Dr. Rekha Gupta added an Advanced Course of Panchkarma and Ayurvedic Massage to her qualification in 2016. This led her to open Ayurvedic Wellness and Therapeutic massage Clinic.
Dr. Rekha also works one day in a week in an aged care nursing home as a Remedial Massage therapist. She loves to cook and enjoys travelling and outdoor activities with her family.
She has always had a very strong passion for optimizing societal health and wellbeing. In fact, it is this passion in her that makes her enjoy her work and she likes to think of it as an instrument that spreads wellbeing, positivity and healing to the world!
