Dr Sharma began his journey into Ayurveda in 2002 as a student and trainee at one of the renowned University in the South part of India. He completed his Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bangalore. Dr Sharma has a vast knowledge of Ayurveda and the western approach as he worked in various health settings to understand the different approaches to treat the body. He also got experience in emergency medicine as he worked as an Emergency Medical Officer in a Multi-Speciality Cardiac hospital (MHHI) in the heart of North India Chandigarh. Dr Sharma says “Working in Emergency made me feel even more passionate about prevention of diseases by using Natural Ayurvedic healing approach. As a growing practitioner, Dr Sharma decided to follow his passion and started planning to open his own -a complete Ayurvedic Holistic healing centre to look after and maintain the community’s health. He is a professional member of the Australasian Association of Ayurveda (AAA) and a life member of the International Academy of Ayurved(IAA). He is the founder of Sewa Ayurveda Sydney that offers authentic Ayurveda in Australia. Sewa Ayurveda is devoted to their clients, ensuring the right diagnosis, early management and prevention by prescribing quality Ayurvedic herbs and various ancient therapeutic therapies. The centre is fully equipped to perform Panchakarma/ Detox with an intensive cycle of therapies to restore the balance.
